WV District Must Continue To Homeschool Vaccine Dissenter

A judge said the Randolph County Board of Education must continue providing homebound instruction to a high school senior who refused to get state-mandated vaccinations.

Circuit Judge Jaymie Godwin Wilfong issued the ruling Thursday.

This year the state mandated all students entering seventh and twelfth grades to receive certain vaccinations.

Olivia Hudok and father Phil sued the school board in September, seeking a religious exemption that would let Olivia resume classes at the Pickens School.
