Ukrainian Protesters Topple Statue of Lenin in Kiev

Ukrainian protesters have toppled a statue of Russian leader Vladimir Lenin amid escalating protests over the government's decision to abandon a European integration deal in favour of closer ties with Moscow.

A Reuters reporter at the scene saw the protesters breaking up the statue with hammers after toppling it with the help of metal bars and rope.
