Trapped

Farad Polk went to the Cook County, Illinois, jail to visit his son. That's where guards took him into a waiting room. The doors slammed and locked, and Polk found himself alone in the room for 31 hours. He says he shouted and pounded on the walls to no avail. He finally broke the head off a sprinkler, causing the room to flood and the fire department to respond and free him.
