Thai Police DIsmantling Abandoned Demonstration Sites

Thai police began dismantling Bangkok demonstration sites that were abandoned by anti-government groups, whose numbers have dwindled since beginning a campaign to oust Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra in October.

Riot police removed barriers, sandbags and tents outside Government House and the Government Complex on Chaeng Wattana road in Bangkok's north. They later retreated from Chaeng Wattana to avoid clashes with demonstrators who returned to the site, according to a live broadcast on Bluesky Television.
