Controversial rocker Ted Nugent apologized for remarks calling President Barack Obama a "subhuman mongrel" on Friday, after his campaign appearance with Texas's Republican gubernatorial hopeful caused a stir.
"I do apologize, not necessarily to the president, but on behalf of much better men than myself," Nugent said in an interview with conservative radio host Ben Ferguson, according to CNN.
