Senate Banking Committee Shelves New Iran Sanctions Proposal

The Senate Banking Committee shelved new Iran sanctions Thursday, giving the Obama administration the time it's been asking for to seek a final deal on Iran's nuclear program.

Sen. Tim Johnson, D-S.D., the committee chairman, made the announcement during his opening statement at a hearing Thursday.
