Scarlett Johansson Stepping Down as Oxfam Ambassador After Outcry Over Relationship With Israeli Sod

Actress Scarlett Johansson is doing the right thing by stepping down as an Oxfam ambassador after the humanitarian group opposed her advocacy for an Israeli company, Council on Foreign Relations President Richard Haass said Thursday on "Morning Joe."

After eight years as an ambassador for Oxfam, Johansson decided to sever ties with the group after it expressed displeasure with her role as a spokesperson for SodaStream, an Israeli at-home soda-making company that maintains a factory in the West Bank, according to The Associated Press.
