Rupert Murdoch Joins the New York Independence Party

Rupert Murdoch is an accidental member of the controversial New York Independence Party, according to a report.

The media mogul marked the wrong box on a voter registration form — and instead of registering as an independent, he joined the Independence Party, Crain's New York Business reported. News Corp. spokesperson Nathaniel Brown told Crain's that Murdoch will re-register as an unaffiliated voter.
