Repent, Sinner

Mohamed Cheikh Ould Mohamed has been convicted of apostasy by a Mauritanian court after publishing an article critical of Islam's founder. He reportedly will be given a chance to repent before sentencing. He potentially could receive a death sentence, though Mauritania has not sentenced anyone to death since the 1980s.
