Quebec Elects First Female Premier

Parti Québécois Leader Pauline Marois is now slated to become Quebec's first female premier, though it remains unclear whether her party has clinched a majority in an intensely fought Quebec provincial election that could usher a new phase of confrontations in the national unity debate.

Three television networks, Radio-Canada, TVA and CTV, have called the PQ as winners of the election.
