Opinion of Federal Government at Record Low

According to a Pew Research Center survey the number of Americans with a favorable opinion of the federal government is at a record low. Only 28 percent of those polled viewed the federal government favorably. Shortly after 9/11 the federal government had a favorability rating of 82 percent.

Americans' opinion of the federal government has fallen to a record low even as they continue to view local and state governments favorably, according to Pew Research Center survey released on Monday.
