Ohio Mulling Bill to Allow Police Access to Cellphone Data During Emergencies

An Ohio House committee approved a controversial bill yesterday that would allow police to collect limited cellphone data during an emergency.

The legislation would require cellphone carriers to provide data revealing a user's location during an emergency such as an abduction.
