GOP nominee Mitt Romney's two weeks of taking a press beating over his Libya crisis reaction and his hidden-camera "47 percent" remark didn't cost him in nationwide polls, despite a pervasive media narrative that portrayed his campaign in disarray and his prospects in question, while President Obama now heads into what could be a tough week highlighting his foreign policy woes.
Two national polls released yesterday show Romney emerging from his gaffes unscathed. He is even with Obama at 46 percent in the Rasmussen Reports daily presidential tracker, and trails Obama by just 2 percent in a Gallup poll.
