About a dozen protesters were jailed after being arrested during another night of protests in Ferguson, and it has some local officials and rights groups questioning if police overreached.
The reason for Thursday's arrests outside of the Ferguson Police headquarters wasn't immediately clear.
Patricia Bynes, a Democratic committeewoman of Ferguson Township who was at the scene, says protesters were warned against violence-inciting language but she didn't know what protesters were saying. Other media reports say they were cited for violating a noise ordinance.
