More Polar: Solar Coronal Mass Ejection Means Northern Lights Could Be Seen as Far South as Clevelan

The sun has been unusually silent for the last couple of years. But, on occasion, it still burps out a big solar flare. This large mass of energy is also known as a Coronal Mass Ejection or CME. And sometimes, it ejected directly toward Earth.
