Mitt Romney to Speak at CPAC

Mitt Romney is going back to the audience where he declared himself "severely conservative."

The 2012 GOP presidential nominee will speak next month at the Conservative Political Action Conference, an annual gathering of activists. Romney's appearance at CPAC is his first major speech since losing the White House to President Obama.

It was last February when Romney told the CPAC crowd that he was a "severely conservative Republican governor" despite his Massachusetts address. At the time, Romney was battling Rick Santorum for the Republican nomination and Santorum had just beat the ex-governor in Minnesota, Missouri and Colorado.
