Michigan's Population Actually Growing

Michigan is gaining people.

State-level population estimates, released today by the U.S. Census Bureau, show Michigan saw a .06% increase in population from 2011 to 2012.

The gain in population is the first time Michigan has gained residents since 2004, Census bureau records show.
