Massachusetts Calls For Citizens United to be Overruled

BOSTON—The state Legislature has signed off on a resolution calling for a federal constitutioanl amendment to reverse the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in the Citizens United case.

The 2010 high court ruling lifted many restrictions on corporate spending in political elections.

The Massachusetts House approved the non-binding resolution on Tuesday in the closing hours of the two-year legislative session. The Senate backed the measure last week.
