Lt. Gov. Tim Murray will resign from the his post at the State House Wednesday, WBZ's Jon Keller has learned.
Sources tell WBZ-TV's Karen Anderson that Murray will accept a position as the head of the Worcester Chamber of Commerce, making over $200,000 per year.
The chamber has a vote scheduled at noon to make it official. Murray is then expected to speak at the State House Wednesday afternoon.
'Sources close to Murray tell WBZ-TV Murray is poised to leave his office as early as today," Keller said. "There is some speculation he has another position lined up."
