Marijuana Legalization, Minimum Wage Increase Both Winning in Alaska

With 28 percent of the vote counted in Alaska, ballot initiatives on marijuana legalization and the minimum wage are both passing.

An initiative permitting sale and use of recreational marijuana is ahead 53 percent to 47 percent.

An intiative increasing the minimum wage by $1 per hour over the next two years and then tying future increases to inflation is passing 70 percent to 30 percent.
