It has been 28 years since Los Angeles hosted its last Olympic games—and it will be 40 years by the time the games could possibly return. That's what Los Angeles City Councilman Tom LaBonge is hoping will happen.
LaBonge introduced a motion on Friday asking his colleagues to help support an effort to get another Olympic games in Los Angeles in the next decade or so.
