Judge Rules Against Stay for Morning-After Pill Sales

A judge has ruled against the Obama administration's request for a stay of the decision allowing the morning-after pill to be made available to women of all ages without a prescription.

U.S. District Judge Edward R. Korman also lashed out at the administration for appealing his ruling, calling it a "frivolous" move meant to delay its implementation. Korman's ruling had been slated to take effect today.

But Korman did allow the administration some time to ask an appeals court for a stay before the ruling goes into effect.
