Israel Says World Must Judge Iran By Its Actions

THE world must judge Iran's intentions by its actions and not by "presentations" at the latest talks on its disputed nuclear program, a senior Israeli official said yesterday.

The comments came hours after world powers wrapped up two days of talks in Geneva, which the US described as showing a new level of "seriousness".

Israel was quick to pour water on the upbeat tone.

"Until significant steps are carried out on the ground which prove that Iran is breaking up its military nuclear program, the international community must continue to impose sanctions upon it," the official said, reiterating a line repeatedly driven home by Israel in recent weeks.
