"Hundreds Line Up in D.C. For Free Marijuana Seeds": Produced by Joshua Swain. About 90 seconds.

Original release date was March 27, 2015 and the original writeup is below.

Washington, D.C.—On March 26, hundreds of people lined up for blocks outside of Libertine bar in the city's Adam's Morgan neighborhood to get totally legal—and totally free—marijuana seeds. "This is the end of the Cannabis Campaign," says Adam Eidinger, chairman the DC Cannabis Campaign and organizer of the seed-sharing event. Last November, D.C. residents voted in favor of Ballot Initiative 71, which legalized the possession of up to two ounces of marijuana. The initiative also allows residents to grow a small number of marijuana plants. "We're seeing the new law in action," says Eidinger. "People are picking up free seeds from people who are willing to share them and they are going to go home and grow marijuana in their homes in Washington D.C."
