Gov. Pat Quinn has signed a bill expanding Medicaid to cover low-income Illinois adults who don't have children at home — a big part of President Barack Obama's health care law.
Quinn made it official Monday at the University of Illinois at Chicago's medical facilities.
The Chicago Democrat is a longtime supporter and says it'll give many Illinoisans access to quality health care. Quinn says he wanted to sign it into law before Obama visits his home state this week.
