I hate to depress everybody, but we still have half a year of campaigning to endure before we get to Election Day. To take the edge off the spectacle of those power-hungry pols demanding a place in the White House, take a moment to enjoy the opposite of a campaign song. Mayfield also wrote Ray Charles' "Hit the Road, Jack," and I guess that works as an election-year anthem too.
