Formerly Disqualified Transgendered Miss Universe Canada Contestant to Feature in <em>Elle</em> Cana

Now this is a redemption story: In 2012, model Jenna Talackova was unceremoniously disqualified from the Miss Universe Canada pageant because she was born a male, despite the fact that she'd undergone gender-reassignment surgery at the age of 19. Now, at 25, Talackova is helping to bring global awareness to this issue, with her upcoming reality show called Brave New Girls (slated to air on E!
