Madison Gesiotto, a student at Ohio State University's law school, set up a meeting with a dean to discuss a threat she says she received after writing a newspaper column on the black abortion rate. Instead, she says, she was grilled by three deans for an hour about why she wrote the column. She says she kept trying to steer the conversation back to the threat but they didn't seem interested. In a statement, Dean Alan C. Michaels said the university takes any alleged threat seriously, then added, "We try to foster a culture of respectful dialogue when addressing tough, emotional topics as they arise in discussions of law and policy."
