If the Florida voters are allowed to decide the issue of medical marijuana; it's likely to pass by a very wide margin, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll.

According to the poll, Florida voters support the use of marijuana for medical use by an 82-16 percent margin. Support for medical marijuana was overwhelming across every group surveyed by Quinnipiac.

Republicans supported the use of marijuana in medical cases 70-26 percent while voters under 30 approved of the measure by a margin of 90 percent to 10 percent.
