Under new guidelines issues by Britain's Director of Public Prosecutions, men accused of date rape will now be required to show their innocence. Defendants must be able to demonstrate that the complainant said yes to sex and did so "freely and knowingly." And those guidelines apply not only when the alleged victim may have been incapacitated by drink or drugs but when she has mental health problems or the accused held some sort of position of power.
