<em>Diff'rent Strokes</em> Dad Conrad Bain Dead at 89

The Alameda County coroner's office confirmed Wednesday that "Diff'rent Strokes" actor Conrad Bain died at a Livermore-area hospital.

He died Monday, officials said. The cause of death has not been determined, and coroner's officials said it's not clear whether a doctor will sign the death certificate or whether there will be a formal review of his death.

He was 89.
