Brian Pennings, a public information officer for the CHP in East County, told CBSLA that an officer was on routine patrol on Interstate 8 when he observed a man dressed up as a giant rabbit on a motorcycle traveling down the highway near San Diego. Pennings said the officer proceeded to make a traffic stop after noticing the bunny wasn't wearing a helmet. Also, he said, the costume posed a safety concern as it was a visual impairment.
