Dodd-Frank Here to Stay

U.S. President Barack Obama's re-election was also a victory for a 2010 law intended to provide more effective financial regulation, financial analysts said.

The president signed the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act in 2010. His Republican challenger, Mitt Romney, promised to repeal it.
