November marked the ninth straight month in which the median selling price of metro Detroit homes climbed by double-digits annually, with an increase of 41 percent to $120,250, according to Farmington Hills-based Realcomp. The median selling price in metro Detroit in November 2012 was $85,100.
Realcomp, the Multiple Listing Service for southeast Michigan, defines metro Detroit as Wayne, Oakland, Livingston and Macomb counties.
