The Conservative government is set to announce Monday it will adopt nearly 100 recommendations presented to it earlier this year on how to cut the regulatory burden for small businesses — including potentially controversial measures on health, food inspection and the environment.
Led by Treasury Board president Tony Clement, five cabinet ministers will fan out across the country to announce the Harper government's Red Tape Reduction Action Plan — Ottawa's response to a report from earlier this year on how to cut red tape for thousands of small businesses across the country.
