Florida's 3rd District Court of Appeal has upheld Miami Shores' ban on growing vegetables in front yards. The city has threatened Hermine Ricketts and Tom Carroll with fines of $50 a day for violating the law. The two have grown vegetables in their front yard for 17 years, but the city banned the practice in 2013.
