The Texas Department of Transportation took almost $400 from Birgit Grubbs for trips on toll roads she never made. Grubbs has a TxTag account, which allows the government to automatically bill a customer's bank account or credit card for trips on toll roads. It turns out that she was being billed for trips made by cars with temporary tags from a auto dealership that were similar to her tag.
