Officials in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu have banned the release of "Vishwaroopam," a spy thriller about a dancer who foils a terrorist attack on New York, after Muslim groups complained it portrays Muslims in a bad light. The government said it feared protests of the film could become violent. The film has also been banned in the United Arab Emirates, Sri Lanka, and Singapore.
