Bill Clinton: Putin Can Be Trusted

NEW YORK, Sept. 25 (UPI) — Former U.S. President Bill Clinton told CNN Russian President Vladimir Putin can be trusted and has never broken his word on a personal agreement between them.
"He kept his word in all the deals we made," Clinton told CNN at the Clinton Global Initiative annual meeting Wednesday in New York.
He added, however, the United States will "just have to see what happens" with a Russian-led plan to strip Syria of its chemical weapons.
