At least 12 suspects have been arrested over the killing of two French journalists in Mali, police say.
The men were killed in Kidal recently after being abducted by armed men, according to French and Malian officials.
"A dozen suspects have been arrested since the murder of two Radio France Internationale (RFI) journalists," a police source in Gao, the main city in northern Mali, was quoted by AFP news agency as saying.
Ghislaine Dupont and Claude Verlon, both working for French radio station Radio France Internationale (RFI), were seized on Saturday afternoon by armed men after they had finished an interview with a Tuareg rebel leader, according to a city official.
