Arizona Supreme Court Delays Man's Execution

The Arizona Supreme Court issued a stay of execution moments before the scheduled execution of Joseph Rudolph Wood so that the court can consider his petition for review.

Earlier in the day, After legal wrangling over Joseph Wood's First Amendment claims regarding Arizona's secrecy surrounding the lethal injection process, the Supreme Court said the execution could proceed on Wednesday.
