Argentina and Rwanda Expected to Win Seats on UN Security Council

UNITED NATIONS: The UN General Assembly votes Thursday to elect five new non-permanent members to the Security Council, with Argentina and Rwanda widely expected to win seats, while three others are up for grabs.
Buenos Aires and Kigali are essentially a lock to take their places on the 15-member council, as no other countries in their respective regions have declared any intention to vie for a spot on the most powerful UN body.
