Apple Reportedly Fires Apple Maps Exec

The much-maligned Apple maps app has reportedly claimed another victim. According to Bloomberg, Cupertino fired another executive involved in creating the app.

Richard Williamson, who has served as Apple's senior director of iOS platform services, was fired by Eddy Cue, senior vice president of Internet Software and Services at Apple, the news service said today.
