Appeals Court Reinstates Hostage Taking Charge Against Alleged Somali Pirate

A federal appeals court has reinstated two charges against an alleged Somali pirate that had been dismissed by a lower court judge.

Last year, U.S. District Judge Ellen Huvelle dismissed two hostage-taking charges against Ali Mohamed Ali, as well as a charge of conspiracy to commit piracy.
