Anti-Defamation League Says It Won't Oppose Hagel

In a major boost for Chuck Hagel, the Anti-Defamation League announced Monday that it will not oppose him for the position of defense secretary.

"Senator Hagel would not have been my first choice, but I respect the president's prerogative," Abraham H. Foxman, the national director of the ADL, said.
