DHAKA, Bangladesh, Sept. 23 (UPI) — Officials in Bangladesh deployed riot police Sunday to put down violent protests over a film some Muslims consider blasphemous.
Chanting mobs were reported in the capital, Dhaka, the southeastern port city of Chittagong and Bhola, Gulf News reported.
