American Accountant Gets 18-Year Sentence For Aiding Al Qaeda

An American accountant has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for aiding al Qaeda with money and supplies.

Sabirhan Hasanoff, 37, was also accused of conducting surveillance on the New York Stock Exchange for a possible terror attack.

Hasanoff, who also has Australian citizenship, pleaded guilty last year to supporting al Qaeda and conspiring with others. He was sentenced in a Manhattan federal court.
