Actress Eileen Brennan has died at the age of 80.
She was best known for her role as US Army Captain Doreen Lewis in Private Benjamin, for which she received an Oscar nomination.
Brennan was then awarded with an Emmy and Golden Globe when she reprised the role in a TV adaptation of the movie.
