Activists in DC Hoping To Stop the Closure of 15 Schools

D.C. education activists are expected in federal court Friday for a key hearing in theirlawsuit seeking to halt the planned closure of 15 city schools.

The activists argue that the closures disproportionately affect poor and minority children and therefore violate a number of civil rights laws.
