60 Dead in Central African Republic Clashes

A government spokesman in Central African Republic says 60 people were killed during weekend attacks involving fighters believed to be loyal to former President Francois Bozize, who was ousted in a coup in March.

Guy Simplice Kodegue said Monday the fighting took place in the west of the country, including the town of Bossangoa near Bozize's home village.
